Hypnosis is often described as a heightened state of awareness. This is a natural state of mind, characterised by a wonderful feeling of deep relaxation. During a hypnotherapy session, I use relaxation techniques to facilitate the client move into this relaxed, hypnotic state. Then, I invite the client’s subconscious mind to replace any unhealthy attitudes or feelings with positive thoughts and feelings. I only use suggestions which have been given to me directly by the client. Inputting positive suggestions into the subconscious mind has a much more powerful effect than a client consciously deciding to change their attitudes or feelings. Hypnotherapy greatly benefits people with issues such as:

  • Weight Management
  • Smoking
  • Irrational Fears
  • Phobias
  • Panic Attacks
  • Motivation Issues
  • Confidence Issues

 Weight management

Clients have found hypnotherapy very effective in helping them choose healthy food options and maintaining regular exercise.

  • First session 1hour and 30 min to two hours
  • Five sessions (approx.) to complete treatment

Clients who are committed to giving up smoking, find that hypnotherapy makes it easier to quit; without feeling the need to substitute smoking with other behaviours, such as eating. In addition cravings are greatly reduced.

  •  Can require ONLY ONE SESSION
  •  1 hour and 30 min – 2 hours session

During Hypnotherapy, the client can comfortably revisit and heal old traumatic past experiences. Healing these painful memories, using a technique called regression, has helped clients to overcome;

Phobias and fears such as;

  • Fear of flying
  • Fear of public speaking
  • Claustrophobia (fear of small/enclosed spaces)
  • Anxiety before job interview

Number of sessions vary depending on the presenting issue with each one hour session costing.

During hypnotherapy, the client is always fully conscious, in control and feeling safe.
