Hypnosis is often described as a heightened state of awareness. This is a natural state of mind, characterised by a wonderful feeling of deep relaxation. During a hypnotherapy session, I use relaxation techniques to facilitate the client move into this relaxed, hypnotic state. Then, I invite the client’s subconscious mind to replace any unhealthy attitudes or feelings with positive thoughts and feelings. I only use suggestions which have been given to me directly by the client. Inputting positive suggestions into the subconscious mind has a much more powerful effect than a client consciously deciding to change their attitudes or feelings. Hypnotherapy greatly benefits people with issues such as:
- Weight Management
- Smoking
- Irrational Fears
- Phobias
- Panic Attacks
- Motivation Issues
- Confidence Issues

Clients who are committed to giving up smoking, find that hypnotherapy makes it easier to quit; without feeling the need to substitute smoking with other behaviours, such as eating. In addition cravings are greatly reduced.
